Wesley Walker was drafted in 1977 by the NY Jets (1977-89) at the wide receiver position. He went to the pro bowl 2X in 1977 & 1982. He was an NFL receiving yard leader in 1978. He was placed in the NY Jets Ring of Honor in 2012 along with Mark Gastineau. 1st Jet to lead the League in receiving yards since Don Maynard and is currently the last since 2023. The 1st female scout, Connie Carberg, was credited with helping the Jets in their selection.
